VANG VIENG
In Belgium we already dicided to do the Vang Vieng challenge. It is a 2 day jungle trekking with via ferratas, zip lines and abseils. That was one of our best decisions ever. The challenge was hard during the first day as we had to walk up a mountain for 4 hours. After the walking we did a 1,5 hour of a via ferrata to reach the top of the mountain. We ended the day with a 60m abseil from a waterfall and a awesome view with a million stars. Day 2 we felt like monkeys when abseiling from and ziplining above trees.

MUANG NGOI
3 DAYS
To go from Sapa to Muang Ngoi, you have to take 1 nightbus, 1 normal bus and 1 boat. We spend 2 days traveling to get there but it was so worth it. We walked to the viewpoint and visited the little villages. Then we went by boat up to Nong Khiauw and by bus up to luang prabang.

LUANG PRABANG
4 DAYS
We visited a lot of temples and the royal palace on our first full day, Our second day we went to the Kuang Si Falls and the butterflygarden. Those are certainly worth the visit. We also strolled over the night market. The last day we spended on updating our site.

VANG VIENG
5 DAYS
In Vang Vieng we stayed in Magic Monkey bungalows, had our own pool and an awesome view over the mountains. We spended one day driving around visiting the lagoons. If you go, lagoon 5 is our favorite. Then we spend 2 days on the challenge. when we got back we rested for a little bit, did some rock climbing and went onn the 'legendary' tubing. If you want do do the tubing, make sure you go with a group. then we went to Vientiene

VIENTIENE
2 DAYS
We did not like Vientiene that much, we arrived, ate with some friends and then visited the gold temple ( not really worth to go in) and took the bus/train to Thailand. If you don't have to be there we would skip it.
